Four Killed in Head-On Collision Between Truck and Tata Ace in Bidar
Bidar, Feb 28: A tragic road accident claimed the lives of four people on Wednesday morning in Bidar district, Karnataka. A head-on collision between a truck and a Tata Ace near Sevanagar tanda in Bhalki taluk resulted in the instant deaths of the four occupants of the Tata Ace.
Five others traveling in the Tata Ace sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at the BRIMS Hospital in Bidar. All the deceased and injured are reportedly residents of Udgir, Maharashtra.
The Tata Ace, carrying 14 people – six women, five men, and three children – was traveling from Udgir to Hyderabad when the collision occurred. The identities of the deceased have been confirmed as Dastagir Davlasab (36), Rasheeda Sheikh (41), Tata Ace driver Wali (31), and Amam Sheikh (51).
The accident happened at around 4:30 am and is being investigated by the Dannur police station.
